The Quality Control Officer independently verifies, documents, and communicates the quality of work carried out by subcontractors and partners on Localworks sites without managing workers or executing construction works themselves. You are the guardian of our technical standards, environmental principles, and craftsmanship ethos: checking that every activity, material, and detail matches the drawings, the specifications, and the Localworks way of building.

The Graduate Architect is responsible for assisting on up to three projects which ideally are at different stages of design and/or construction. The role usually requires the individual to work as part of the team by pro-actively assisting on all required conceptual or technical input. The candidate may also play an assisting role in coordinating the work of sub-consultants, by checking and incorporating their output, taking part in regular design team meetings and updating the project programme.

The role usually requires the individual to run a team of architectural assistants by regularly checking and reviewing their output and by pro-actively providing all required conceptual or technical input; for smaller projects. The role also entails coordinating the work of sub-consultants, by coordinating and checking their output, conducting regular design team meetings and efficiently managing the project programme.
